LCPD traveled to New York in September for another performance at the DANCE NOW Festival.
LCPD premeired a new work at Overture Center for the Arts' 10th anniversary celebration on September 27-28. The work, titled Tendrils, was one of 10 pieces performed at the show by Overture's 10 resident organizations.
Li Chiao-Ping Dance performed selections from last spring's original production at the Wisconsin Science Festival on October 16.
This spring's production featured works both old and new as we celebrated our 20th anniversary of performance in Dane County at Memorial Union's newly rennovated Fredric March Play Circle.
Audiences saw selections from works like Venous Flow: States of Grace and Grafting as well as new works, among which was Bodies of Hope - a series of dances focusing on women wherein dancers from the community and our professional company explored their own experiences with change, transformation, resilience, and hope.

Li Chiao-Ping Dance travels to Nashville, Tennessee to perform Bodies of Hope and bonesetting in the 2015 Women's Works Festival on May 23. Each year, the festival celebrates distinguished, creative works made by women.
Li Chiao-Ping's short film daughter was selected to screen at Triskelion Arts on June 4-5 at the Muriel Schulman Theater in Brooklyn, NY. Dance Film Lab celebrates national and international dance-based films that transcend the boundaries of what would be possible on the stage.
Our annual Summer Dance Camp and Intensive will be held this year from June 13-18 at our dance studio in Oregon, WI, with a culminating concert at the Margaret H'Doubler Performance Space at Lathrop Hall. Please visit our Summer Dance page for more information.
Li Chiao-Ping Dance's professional company will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii in July to perform in the 2015 WDA-Americas Conference & Assembly. The theme for the Assembly is "Spaces and Places: Exploring Dance Narratives through Alternate Lenses."
