Dances for Television

Li Chiao-Ping Dance collaborated with Douglas Rosenberg and noted Canadian dance and video artists Allen and Karen Kaeja on "Aroma/5 Senses," a program of modern dance created for television to be broadcast by sponsor Wisconsin Public Television in Spring 2006. LCPD company members performed in the Aroma and Verge sections, and the project saw the return of former company members Tania Isaac (Philadelphia, PA), Lori Dillon (Seattle, WA), Colleen Coy (Vancouver, BC) and Candice Salyers (Northamptom, MA).

The program was shot in High Definition video October 31 - November 18 on location in rural Oregon, Wisconsin. The star-studded cast includes Heidi Latsky, former Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Co. soloist, David Dorfman, Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and Bessie award winner, and Ken James and Cynthia Adams of the Fellow Travelers Performance Group. (Fall 2005)
